A Joyful Announcement!

Hi Everyone!

Hope that August finds you feel and beating the heat!

I am so excited to announce that “Joyful: A Rosary Companion“ is complete. The album features a recitation of the rosary by two of my dear friends, Rocco Ambrosio and Sara Ambrosio (Kalb) from my theatre days at Franciscan University, accompanied by original harp music. The album also features the “Prayer of St. Michael,“ and “The Memorare.“ At the end of the spoken part of the album you will find just the instrumental harp pieces, so in a way it’s very much a “choose your own prayer adventure album.“

This project is one that has been on my heart and in the back of my mind for years. However, when I was faced with some incredibly challenging and frighting events in my personal life two years ago this project moved from the “someday“ list to the “you know what, I only have one life and I want to use it well“ pile. While I was struggling with anxiety and tossing and turning in bed at 2:00a.m. wondering if I would ever return to a normal sleeping cycle, I turned to the rosary. While it didn’t always lead me to falling asleep, it would remind me that God was in control of any crazy circumstances in my life, and did bring me greater peace.

While the “official“ release date of the album is October 7th (the Feast of the Holy Rosary) I will have “Joyful“ available at select events and online.
